Efren Galang Danting worked as an electrician and bus driver before eventually landing a work abroad. He is currently working as a technician in Oman. Working abroad, according to Efren, holds the key to ensure the future of his children, as well as their education.

Sacrifice  being away from a family is the most difficult  being an OFW

My children education.also my own house

War erupt in kuwait after that I went in Libya same happen again.now i’m in Muscat Oman now

Do you have any plans in mind so that you don’t have to work abroad for the rest of your life?

When im young.not serious with my studies

Most people don’t realize what it’s actually like to be an OFW. They think that OFWs just travel and have fun abroad. Can you share your real situation as an OFW so people understand what you really do?

Most people think its easy.but its big sacrifice.masarap sumakay ng eroplano yung ang alam nila
